Grove dentist Dr. Karl Jobst recently joined the Wyandotte Indian Nation at the Grand Opening of their new casino in Wyandotte Oklahoma. Jobst who has worked with the tribe for close to 10 years has been the main provider of dental care for tribal members. Jobst entered into a financial arrangement with the tribe not long after he started practicing in Grove to work with the tribes health care division to provide dental care for tribal members. Jobst first learned of the tribe when he joined their health club and became close friends with Billy Friend who at the time was director of the health club. Since that time Friend was promoted to director of health care for the tribe and most recently became 2nd chief of the tribe. The new casino is estimated to revenue 10 to 12 million dollars annually. A portion of this money will be allocated into the healthcare program for tribal members in addition to what the tribe already receives from the Indian Health Service. Pictured from left to right are Wyandotte Chief Leaford Bearskin, Karl Jobst DDS, and 2nd Chief Billy Friend.

"Having a great smile is very important to me that's why I see Dr. Jobst. He has
done a great job taking care of me and meeting my needs."
