| All the fillings that we do are tooth colored (composite) fillings. This gives the most natural and aesthetic appearance. We believe that the white fillings are actually better than the traditional silver fillings. The difference is, with the white fillings, there is an actual mechanical bond created between the tooth and the filling. White fillings also don't expand over time. Traditional silver fillings have no mechanical bond, and expand over time, eventually creating cracks and small fractures in the tooth. |
