US senator Jim Inhofe of Tulsa was recently in Grove to visit with constituents on a variety of issues currently before the congress. Inhofe visited with residents concerning immigration reform, the war in Iraq, and healthcare. Inhofe also offered his views on the current presidential race and offered insight into how today’s issues are shaping and affecting their races. Senator Inhofe was able to visit with local dentist Karl Jobst DDS of Grove concerning some of the current healthcare legislation that will be coming before congress. Dr. Jobst has worked with the senator on various issues in the past and most recently served last year on the senator’s US Service Academy’s selection committee. The committee screened applications and made recommendations to the senator on which Oklahoma high school students the senator should appoint to the US military and service academies.

"Having a great smile is very important to me that's why I see Dr. Jobst. He has
done a great job taking care of me and meeting my needs."
