| Inlays and onlays are tooth colored restorations that are used on the chewing surfaces of the back teeth. Many times, we will do inlays or onlays on areas that in the past would have required a crown. They are virtually indistinguishable from real teeth. Inlays and onlays are used in place of traditional large silver fillings. If you already have silver fillings, and would like a more aesthetic alternative, you may consider replacing them with inlays or onlays. |
