Dr. Karl Jobst of Grove recently provided two healthcare scholarships at the Grove senior awards assembly. Both scholarships were in the amount of $250. The scholarships went to Cynthia Yirsa pictured to the left of Dr. Jobst and Taryn Booth. Cynthia plans on attending Missouri Southern in Joplin, Mo. where she will be pre-dental. Cynthia is graduating with a 4.0 gpa and is number 1 in her class out of 180 students. Taryn will be attending Pittsburg State in Pittsburg, Kan. Taryn will also be pre-dental and wants to become a pediatric dentist. Taryn is graduating with a 3.55 gpa. Both girls have received numerous awards and will start school this fall. Dr. Jobst stated at the assembly, that both girls will be very successful and tremendous assets to dentistry. |
